Alexandre Costet was born in France and began studying electrical engineering at Supélec (Paris, France) in 2003. In 2007, he joined a double-diploma exchange program with Imperial College (London, UK), where he gained a M.Sc. in biomedical engineering. During his M.Sc. he worked on image registration in elasticity imaging. He was awarded both degrees (M.S. and M.Sc.) in 2008.
Alexandre obtained his Ph.D. in September 2016 at Columbia University. His main research interests are cardiac ultrasonic imaging, particularly using electromechanical imaging to characterize arrhythmias and help improve treatment.
