Fabrice Marquet was born in 1981 in Monaco. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2009 at the Laboratoire d'Ondes et Acoustique in Paris, where he worked on designing two non-invasive protocols for HIFU treatment: one based on 3D CT scans for use in brains, validated in vitro and in vivo on monkeys; and another with transcostal focusing using real-time 3D movement correction and spiral trajectories for abdominal organs, validated in vitro and partially in vivo on pigs. He now works on the blood-brain barrier opening and harmonic motion imaging projects.
