Ronny Li graduated from Case Western Reserve University in May 2010 with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering focusing on imaging and computing. His senior thesis involved the synthesis of peptide-based imaging probes for prostate cancer diagnostics. He also worked on various summer research projects at Oregon Health and Science University, including the development of an automated cell tracking algorithm for time-lapse microscopy. In Fall 2010, he enrolled in Columbia's MS leading to PhD program. His research interests include the application of ultrasound imaging in early detection of cardiovascular diseases.
