Biography

Gary Hou received his B.S in biomedical engineering from Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN, USA) in 2008. As an undergraduate volunteer research assistant, he participated in research involving cardiopulmonary systems and neurophysiological signal processing.

In September 2008, he enrolled in the M.S/Ph.D program in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. Currently, his research interests include ultrasound imaging and therapy, particularly using harmonic motion imaging.
