
Yao-Sheng Tung was born in Taipei, Taiwan. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from National Taiwan University, in Taipei, Taiwan. He was a research assistant in National Taiwan University Hospital in 2006. In September 2007, he enrolled in Columbia University's Ph.D. program. Yao-Sheng's research interests are in ultrasound therapy with microbubbles, and cavitation effects. He obtained his Ph.D. in 2012 and continued to work in the UEIL as a postdoctoral research scientist.
